What You Need to Know, Part II: Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture
This course is only for Acupuncturists who have previously taken and passed the course, “What You Need to Know to Become an Effective Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturist.” This course, Part II, builds on the previous materials, and examines the Major Hospice Diagnoses from both the Western and Asian Medical perspectives. The course book, Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture, includes research studies for palliative treatments and symptom control using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
This course is accepted by the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists (NAHPCA.com) as part of their requirements for professional certification. Acupuncture professionals who qualify, may chose to join the association, and are then allowed to use the title: Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture (CPHPCA), and are listed on the NAHPCA’s certified provider’s directory. The course fee includes the online book, study questions, and the NCCAOM PDA certificate on successful completion of the examination.
